Yi-Jian Yao  PhD, Professor

    姚一建,男,毕业于英国伦敦大学英皇学院,获博士学位。中国科学院“百人计划”入选者,国家杰出青年基金获得者。现为中国科学院微生物研究所菌物标本馆馆长,英国皇家植物园荣誉研究员,国际真菌命名委员会委员,中国科学院生物多样性委员会委员,《菌物研究》、《生命世界》、《武夷科学》副主编,《菌物学报》、《植物分类与资源学报》、《食用菌学报》、《中国孢子植物志》、《Scientific Reports》编委。

    主要从事大型经济真菌分子系统学、物种与遗传多样性、分子进化、资源保护与可持续利用、重要食药用菌的栽培、发酵、生理活性和深层次开发利用,以及植物病原真菌等研究。研究类群主要包括冬虫夏草、广义虫草属、灵芝、口蘑、侧耳、蚁巢伞、牛肝菌和块菌等。主持国家杰出青年基金、科技部国家科技支撑项目、科技部科技基础性工作专项、中科院“百人计划”、中科院创新重要方向项目、国家自然科学基金面上项目,以及与企业合作的药食用菌开发利用研发项目;承担科技部国际合作重点项目、863项目、973项目等研究。主讲中国科学院大学研究生《菌物学》课程。

    已发表英文专著1册、译著3册、参加编著7册、学术论文160余篇(110余篇为英文论文,120余篇为第一或通讯作者)。申请专利13项、已获得授权5项。指导培养博士生23名(已毕业19名)、硕士生18名(已毕业10名)。

    Dr Yi-Jian Yao, BSc, MAgr, PhD (London), Professor of Mycology, awardee of Introduction of Overseas Outstanding Talents by Chinese Academy of Sciences and of National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars by National Natural Science Foundation of China. He currently serves as Director of Fungarium, Chinese Academy of Sciences (HMAS). He is also an Honorary Research Associate of Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew; Deputy Director of the Working Group for Agricultural and Forest Biodiversity of the Chinese National Committee for Diversitas; Member of the IAPT Nomenclature Committee for Fungi and of the Biodiversity Committee, Chinese Academy of Sciences; Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Fungal Research, Life World and Wuyi Science Journal; Editor of Mycosystema, Plant Diversity and Resources, Acta Edulis Fungi, Cryptogamic Flora of China and Scientific Reports.

    Professor Yao’s main research areas are molecular systematics of fungi, fungal diversity, molecular evolution, conservation and sustainable use of fungal resources, exploitation of medicinal and edible fungi, and plant pathogenic fungi. His research focuses on economically important macro-fungi in China, including Cordyceps, Ophiocordyceps, Ganoderma, Tricholoma, Pleurotus, Termitomyces, Boletus, Tuber, etc. Examples of research funds held are National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars from National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Key Technologies R&D Program and National Key Basic Research Special Fund from Ministry of Science and Technology, Outstanding Talent Recruitment from Overseas Program and Key Research Project of Renovation Program from Chinese Academy of Sciences, General Program Funds from National Natural Science Foundation of China, Program for Key International Science and Technology Cooperation Projects and National High-tech R&D Program (863 Program) from Ministry of Science and Technology, and Enterprise R&D Projects. Professor Yao is also teaching the Mycology course for research students at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences.

One monograph in English and three translation books have been published by Professor Yao. More than 160 papers, of which over 110 are in English and more than 120 are first or corresponding authored, were published in scientific journals. Thirteen national patents have been filed and five of them are authorized. Professor Yao have supervised a total of 41 research students, including 23 registered for Doctoral program (19 graduated) and 18 for Master program (10 graduated).
